Takes exception to Kerry barb

Dear Editor:
In your editorial of Saturday, September 11, 2004, you praised everyone who suffered from the attacks of 9/11, commendable.
Then you go on to say that John Kerry does not feel the same way.
Just how did you arrive at that?
Did you have a revelation of some kind, or just pull that out of your hat, ear, nose, or some other aperture?
Why not leave the gratuitous insults to someone aware of what’s going on?
Your ineptness is appalling.
And, your knowledge of football is pretty scanty, too.
LSU did not lose to Auburn because they sat on their lead, precisely the opposite.
They lost because they kept throwing the ball and Auburn kept intercepting it to the tune of 3 touchdowns.
Incidentally, a player from Demopolis, Ken Alvis, scored two touchdowns for Auburn that day.
Perhaps you should just keep writing about why people don’t seem to like you.
