The Demopolis Tigers enter tonight’s game against the Greene County Tigers after a 55-16 victory over the Jemison Panthers last week.

Greene County comes into host tonight’s match up after a 40-24 loss to the Bibb County Choctaws.

DHS remains undefeated on the season and aims to keep it that way.

All three aspects of the game are working to near perfection for DHS under the leadership of head coach Doug Goodwin.

The hosting Tigers better be ready for the powerful Demopolis offense and the unstoppable defense, as DHS will be looking to add another shutout to the season list.

Tonight’s affair should be a fairly easy win for the visiting Tigers as they keep their focus on the playoffs and ultimately, the state championship.

My prediction: Demopolis 56, Greene County 0

American Christian at Akron

The American Christian Patriots hit the road for Akron tonight after a hard-fought 33-28 victory over the Sweet Water Bulldogs.

The Akron Rams, hosting tonight’s game, return home after a 73-6 blowout loss against the John Essex Hornets.

Sorry, Akron, but I can almost guarantee another loss.

The highly touted and highly impressive Patriots will be too much for the Rams to handle both in the air and on the ground.

My prediction: American Christian 70, Akron 0

Marengo at McIntosh

The Marengo Panthers hit the road tonight after a 36-8 loss to the Millry Wildcats last Friday night.

The hosting McIntosh Demons are back at home after playing against J.U. Blacksher last week.

I’d be guessing that the Panthers are in for a tough night as they battle the Demons in 1A action.

My prediction: McIntosh 28, McIntosh 16

Sunshine at Carrollton

The Sunshine Tigers slip into tonight’s game after a 48-0 shutout loss at the hands of the A.L. Johnson Eagles last Friday night.

The Carrollton Indians, hosting tonight’s match up, enter the game after a 44-8 loss to the forfeit-plagued Linden Patriots.

Both Sunshine and Carrollton have struggled their way through the season, but both teams have proven they can play.

And I’ve learned from experience that “here comes the sun” is more than just a rock and roll hit song by the Beatles.

My guess is that when the sun goes down tonight in Carrollton, Sunshine will walk away with a big road victory.

My prediction: Sunshine 24, Carrollton 8

Hale County at R.C. Hatch

The Hale County Wildcats hit the road tonight after a 35-24 win over the Keith Bears last Friday night.

The R.C. Hatch Bobcats host tonight’s regional showdown after getting shutout, 55-0, against the Gordo Green Wave.

Tonight’s catfight will most likely result in another win for the Wildcats of Hale County.

My prediction: Hale County 28, R.C. Hatch 7

Francis Marion at Midfield

The Francis Marion Rams enter tonight’s game after a 20-12 loss to the Sumter County Wildcats.

The Midfield Patriots will be hosting tonight’s affair after a 48-0 shutout victory over the Central-Hayneville Lions.

Look for the Patriots to come out protecting their home field as they battle out the Rams in this 3A regional match up.

My guess?

Pats over Rams.

My prediction: Midfield 42, Francis Marion 6

Sumter County at

Central-Hayneville

The Sumter County Wildcats will hit the road tonight after a 20-12 victory last Friday night over the Francis Marion Rams.

The Central-Hayneville Lions, meanwhile, enter tonight’s match up after a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Midfield Patriots.

As bad as the Wildcats have looked at times this season, I believe they may be able to pull out another win tonight on the road.

My prediction: Sumter County 22, Central-Hayneville 8

Livingston at Greensboro

The Livingston Cougars will be on the road again after a 36-0 shutout loss to the Panthers of Southside-Selma.

The Greensboro Raiders, on the other hand, host tonight’s game after a 12-0 loss to the Dallas County Hornets.

Though both the Cougars and the Raiders have had their share of struggling moments this season, I believe that Greensboro will probably walk away victorious in tonight’s showdown.

My prediction: Greensboro 21, Livingston 16

Central Christian at MMI

The Central Christian Warriors will be on the road tonight after beating the West Alabama Prep Titans last week, 40-0.

The Marion Military Institute Tigers, meanwhile, come into host tonight’s game after a bye-week last Friday night.

Considering the Titans handled MMI fairly easily, I don’t see the Warriors having much of a problem dealing with the Tigers tonight on the road.

My prediction: Central Christian 42, MMI 7

Southern Academy at Patrician

The Southern Academy Cougars hit the road to Patrician tonight after a 35-6 win last week over Cornerstone Christian.

The Patrician Academy Saints, host of tonight’s game, beat Tuscaloosa Academy 29-13 last week.

The Cougars are looking dominant this year and will be out to prove they are amongst the best with a win tonight on the road.

My prediction: Southern Academy 35, Patrician 20

East Memorial at

Sumter Academy

The East Memorial Wildcats will be on the road tonight after a 47-12 blowout loss to the Autauga Academy Generals last Friday night.

The Sumter Academy Eagles also lost last week, 41-0, to the Shelby Academy Raiders.

It’s tough to make a call on this one, but I believe the Eagles will come away with a win tonight.

My prediction: Sumter Academy 20, East Memorial 7

Marengo Academy at Wilcox

The Marengo Academy Longhorns hit the road to face Wilcox tonight after a 50-6 loss to Clarke Prep.

The Wilcox Wildcats, meanwhile, will be hosting tonight’s action after a 32-26 victory over Jackson Academy.

Based on how these teams have faired this season, it looks as though the Wildcats will come out with a win tonight over the Longhorns.

My prediction: Wilcox 28, Marengo Academy 0
