Mrs. Henrietta Cook-Cunningham, 59, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Boligee, passed Jan. 7, 2005 at her residence in Cleveland. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at Freehope Baptist Church in Boligee. The Rev. Willis Gulley officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery with Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis entrusted with all arrangements. Survivors include a husband, Bobby Cunningham of Cleveland, Ohio; four sisters, Mary C. Atkins of Eutaw, Sallie Mae Knott of Boligee, Mariah (Robert) Davis of Detroit, Mich., and Lue Ella (Sonnie) Allen of Eutaw; one brother, Robert Cook, Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; three aunts; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Joe Hall, 57, of Coatopa, passed on Jan. 3, 2005 at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Ga. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethel-Pine Baptist Church in Coatopa. The Rev. Floyd Bell officiated. Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery in Coatopa. Survivors include seven siblings, Ruby Williams of Coatopa, Charlie (Carlee) Lee and Regina (Alfred) Callaway, both of Tuscaloosa, Ceola Winston, Atlanta, Ga., Roosevelt (Winnie) Lee of Chicago, Ill., Wilma Oveton and Cebell Johnson, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; one aunt, Georgia (Louis) Matthews of Coatopa; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Eliza Hinton Holley, 55, of Faunsdale passed Jan. 7, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Larkin&Scott Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mrs. Corrine Moore

Mrs. Corrine Moore, 92, passed Jan. 9, 2005 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson. The Rev. Edmund Charleston will officiate. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:30 p.m. Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis is entrusted with all arrangements.

Leroy McGhee

Greensboro

Leroy McGhee, 74, of Greensboro passed Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at Hale County Hospital. Funeral services were held at graveside Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dee McGuire officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors include a brother, Russell Lowell McGhee of Greensboro; two nieces, Carolyn Howard Langdon of Birmingham and Suzanne Tibbs of Arizona; and three nephews, Lamar Hall of Greensboro, Albert Tibbs III of Wellington, Fla., and Thomas Tibbs of Gainesville, Fla. Pallbearers were Mike Hall, Mark Hall, Fred Langdon, Bobby Hall, Lamar Hall, and Jack King. Mr. McGhee was born in Colorado on May 30, 1930. His parents were Richard Lee and Ruth Barnacastle McGhee who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sadie McGhee Howard and Geraldine McGhee Tibbs, and also Lois McGhee Hall, who died on Dec. 23, 2004.

William L. “Fuzzy” York

William L. “Fuzzy” York, 83, of Greensboro passed Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. Interment followed in Greensboro Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel. Survivors include his wife Mabel Davis York of Greensboro; daughter, Becky York and her husband Mark Thrash; three sons, Bill York, Jimbo (Sherrie) York, and Jobey (Dawn) York; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jamee and Mary Lemuel York, Ben and Alicia York, and brother, Jim York. Pallbearers were Kevin Averette, Larry Burt, Lee Compton, Ray Johnson, Tommy Stewart, and Ben York. Honorary pallbearers were the fellow past and present Dairy Fresh Corporation employees. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 73, Greensboro, AL 36744. William L. York was born on April 24, 1921 in Dorsey, Miss. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. William Marvin York. Mr. York was a farmer and secretary-treasurer of Dairy Fresh Corporation. He was an active devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Greensboro.
