The 2004 and 2005 season was almost picture perfect for Demopolis High School’s athletics program.

And on Monday morning, the DHS football team and the Lady Tigers basketball team were honored for their achievements.

This year’s seniors for the 4A state championship football team received their trophies and rings. The football team was honored for winning the state championship and the Lady Tigers basketball team was honored for making it all the way to the Final Four.

Also being honored in yesterday’s ceremony were the assistant coaches and the water girls.
