For those wishing to enroll in summer classes on the Demopolis campus of Alabama Southern Community College, today is the day. Registration will take place most of the afternoon giving everyone ample opportunity to get the classes they need.
Dr. Arthur Ogden, director of the Demopolis campus, said registration will be open for five hours. If prospective students are unable to make it to Wednesday’s registration they may still enroll in classes provided they do so before the final deadline.
“Registration for summer classes will take place from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.,” Ogden said. “Classes will begin on Wednesday May 25, but if they can’t make to registration they can still register up until Thursday.”
Ogden said classes will run through most of the summer ending a few weeks before the fall semester begins.
“Classes will start Wednesday and run through Aug. 2,” Ogden said. “After that we will have exams on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4.”
