FAUNDSDALE-A Wednesday accident on Highway 80 just east of Demopolis claimed the life of one victim and injured two others.

Stephanie Ruby, 19, of Vernon was killed when the automobile she was riding in collided with another at the intersection of Highway 80 and Highway 25 in Faundsdale. The driver of the 1994 Jeep in which Ruby was a passenger, Chad Kidd of Vernon was taken to the hospital where he was treated for injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, Charles Horton of Marion, was also taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.
