October 6
Assault was reported at Kwik Way.
October 7
James Anthony Bates, 33 of Marion, was arrested on charges of second-degree possession of marijuana.
Assault and menacing was reported at Mr. Roy’s on Washington Street.
October 8
Theft and burglary was reported on West Green Street. Five dollars in change was reported missing.
Theft and burglary was reported on Route 1. An AM/FM radio and Pioneer CD player were reported missing.
Burglary was reported on West Cornelia Street. A Sanyo television, CD player, Emerson DVD player, 20 DVDs and 10 CDs were reported missing.
October 10
Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and criminal mischief was reported in the parking lot on Washington Street. A television, VCR and two pairs of tennis shoes were reported missing.
October 11
Benny Rutledge, 76 of Greensboro, was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault.
Walter Oliver Green Jr., 32 of Marion, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Assault was reported on County Road 29.
Harassment was reported at the Lincoln Height Apartments.
Domestic violence was reported on Clements Street.
Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and criminal mischief was reported on Alabama Highway 14. A stereo, speakers and television were reported missing.
October 12
Carlos Washington, 35 of Marion, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Damage to property was reported on County Road 29.
Criminal mischief was reported on Route 1.
A 12-gage pump shotgun and two packs of Newport cigarettes were reported missing.
