Two car accident leaves two dead

THOMASTON – An accident on Alabama State Highway 28 left two men dead Wednesday night, according to State Trooper reports.

Graham Lane Odom, 50 of Thomaston, and Robert Kennedy Jr., 52 of Selma, died after Kennedy’s pick-up truck crashed into the back of Odom’s farm trailer as they traveled east on Highway 28.

According to Phyllis Houser from the Selma State Trooper Post, Odom’s trailer did not have reflectors or lights which are necessary for night visibility.

Both men were ejected from their vehicles upon impact and were pronounced dead on the scene at approximately 9:21 p.m.
