“It was a situation where they left a party and as they continued on he told them to stop and let him out,” Isaac said. “Then the fight started and he got out of the car and ran. Then the he was shot.”

Isaac said Beck was shot after he tried to flee the fight.

A fourth party in the incident, the driver of the car was not charged because when the incident began to escalate he stopped the car and ran.

Beck told authorities Blake shot him as he was running away after the altercation.

According to earlier reports from Isaac, the four were riding in Forkland when the car came to a stop and Beck was pistol-whipped. Isaac said Beck then jumped out of the car and began to run when he was shot from behind. The others then left Beck to die.

Isaac said Beck crawled to safety where he was taken to a local hospital and then to Tuscaloosa.

Beck was last reported to be in stable condition and should recover from his wounds.
