Ward promoting fundraiser

DEMOPOLIS-Kimenithia Ward, a student at Demopolis Middle School is promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Kim lost her mother to breast cancer almost two years ago and wanted to do something in her mothers honor. Kim is a native of Vivian, La., but has just relocated to Demopolis with her father James Irvign Ward.
Kim, along with the help of the West Alabama Business and Professional Women’s club will sponsor a homecoming dance at the Demopolis civic center beginning after the game. If you don’t attend the dance and would like to help Kim with her fundraiser you may send your donations to:
