Third-degree burglary and second-degree attempted burglary was reported on Fikes Ferry Road when a lawnmower, hedge clippers, toaster oven, screwdriver and blower were reported missing.

Third-degree criminal mischief was reported at Mike’s Convenience Store on Highway 45 South.
Second-degree criminal mischief was reported on Route 2.

Cordell Leon Bates, age 26 of Birmingham, was arrested on charges of first-degree murder.
Cedric Williams, age 25 of Marion, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault.
First-degree capital murder was reported on Thompson Street.
Domestic violence harassment was reported on Alabama 14 West near the high school.
First-degree assault was reported at Mike’s Convenience Store.

Ezell Fitts, age 37 of Greensboro, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and failing to appear.

First-degree burglary was rperoted when a DVD player, Gateway computer, camcorder, $350, digital camera, surround sound system and Xbox was reported missing.
