Remember the golden rule of Christ

Everyday over 4,000 abortions are performed in the United States alone.

One helpless, unborn child is murdered every 21 seconds in our “Christian” society. Sadly, abortion is no longer a sin that continues to darken the souls of the world, but it is now even being accepted as a godly way of life by some who profess to be members of Christ’s church.

But how can one who is honest and sincere in their study of the Bible advocate that it’s morally right to abort a child on demand?

The Bible very clearly teaches that life begins at conception, despite the present Supreme Court’s position which proclaims, “An unborn child is not a person in any meaningful or whole sense.”

It must be noted that the Supreme Court’s position was “overruled””years ago by “The Supreme Court” of all earthly kingdoms. For David, through inspiration, spoke of his existence before birth and considered himself a living soul (Ps. 139:13).

God very clearly spoke of Jeremiah’s being as one which existed before his birth (Jer. 1:5). For God “knew” him and “sanctified” him as his prophet before Jeremiah was ever born. In Luke 1:41 the Bible, speaking of the unborn John the baptizer, said, “the babe leaped in her womb.”

Notice that the Bible called John a “babe” not a “blob” or some other degrading term the “Pro-Choice” movement likes to use.

Isaiah as well as other prophets, spoke of the sin of shedding the blood of the innocent (Is. 59:6-8; Prov. 6:17; Jer. 26:15).

And Moses gave a startling warning to those who took reward or money to slay the innocent as some doctors do today (Deut. 27:25).

Furthermore, James affirms that the body of a person without their spirit is dead (James 2:26). If life doesn’t begin at conception there would be no need for the abortionist to murder these children.

But the mere fact that they do advocate abortions, proves that there is a growing, living human being, or hence, there would be no reason for an abortion.

For nothing grows and matures if it is dead matter.

Unfortunately, these terminators can exterminate unborn children by law like a termite or roach. Is the life of a unborn child not greater than a bug?

There are several ridiculous arguments made by abortionists to seek “sympathy” and “understanding,” such as “when does life really begin?”

“What about in rape, incest, etc.?” “What if the child is deformed?” “A women has the right to her own body,” etc.

But when all the fanfare is said and done, the simply fact still remains; No one has the right to crush the life of an innocent, defenseless child.

Yes, we sympathize with those caught in certain dilemmas. But the root of the pain and heart-ache is not the child but sin.

Christians should seek to crush sin, not the victims of sin. And this can only be done through Christ where love, peace, and salvation lie.

Truly our laws need changing. For if someone tampers with an egg of a bald eagle they receive a $5,000 fine and one year in prison.

But if someone tampers with the God-given gift of innocent life, they are hailed by many in our twisted generation as a hero for “justice” and “women’s rights.”

Christians need to be lights that guide men to God and his word, not apathetic observers who often find themselves participating in the sins of the world.

Jesus best summed up our attitude toward others, including the unborn, when he said, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Mat. 7:12). May we all seek to remember and observe the Golden Rule of Christ.
