An accident early Thursday morning south of Linden sent both drivers to the hospital. State Troopers responded at 6:25 a.m. to a call of a two-vehicle accident at mile marker 113.05.

According to state trooper reports, the accident occurred when a 2001 Chevrolet, driven by Ember Howell of Grove Hill and a 2003, driven by Gregory Walker of Sweetwater collided.

Both Howell and Walker were injured in the accident and transported to hospitals.

Trooper W.C. Smith responded to the accident.
