The team’s No. 3 seed, for instance, is Molly Coplin, also the go-to scorer for Peter Keen’s DHS soccer team.

But despite their main athletic preferences, Hill’s tennis Tigers have come together to show some might in their region.

The team undefeated, with three victories and one tie (3-0-1). Monday, they trounced Tuscaloosa County, winning 12 of the 18 matches played.

Hill said the contributions of Blakley Tartt, Cody Sprewell and Molly Coplin on the girls’ side, as well as Danny Hammond, Wayne West and William Hill on the boys’ end of the court.

The team travels to McAdory Wednesday.
