Accident leaves two injured, one dead

Trooper David Steward from the Tuscaloosa Highway Patrol post is currently investigating a weekend accident that killed Ronald Edward Walker.
On Sunday at approximately 2:35 p.m. Steward responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident approximately 10 miles south of Livingston.
According to the accident report, Montgomery resident John Anthony Jr. and a juvenile passenger were traveling on U.S. Highway 80 in a 2006 Acura when their vehicle crashed into Walker’s 1985 Chevrolet.
Anthony, 42, and his passenger, 11, were injured and transported to an unknown healthcare facility, while Walker, 55, was fatally injured.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the two surviving parties were unknown at time of press.
