SWEET WATER &045; It&8217;s been a long volleyball season for both the Demopolis Lady Tigers as well as the Sweet Water Lady Bulldogs. Both team have been experiencing a year of growing pains. Both team are young and lack experience. Tuesday evening the Lady Tigers added one to the win column with a 3-0 road victory. They beat the Lady Bulldogs in three straight sets, 25-17, 25-19, and 25-19.

&8220;We finally played a team that matched us in youth and inexperience,&8221; said Demopolis coach Beverly Jones. &8216;We had a real good practice last week.&8221; It paid off. The Lady Tigers were out in front in all three sets. Their size was a big difference in this one. It was the second win for the up and coming team.

Sweet Water stayed close early in all the games, but couldn&8217;t overcome the Demopolis strong finish. &8220;Simple mistakes was the difference,&8221; stated Mattie Moore, Lady Bulldogs head coach.

&8220;We&8217;re improving, though. We have a young team, too.&8221; Sweet Water has won only once thus far this season.
