Two charged in murder

LINDEN &8212; Two men are under arrest for capital murder following an investigation into a Thursday night death.

Sheriff Jesse Langley said a Dixon Mills resident reported seeing a car parked on the side of Brian Hawk Road with smoke pouring from it. When authorities responded, they found the body of Bobby Hayes, 44, of Thomasville, on the ground outside of his burning car.

Following a brief investigation, Langley said his department arrested Tony Bouler, 30, and Quinton Young, 26, both of Dixon Mills. On Monday, the county charged them with murder.

Langley said the accident happened in a time-span of about half-an-hour.
