Norma Meadows McDaniel

DEMOPOLIS &045; Norma Meadows McDaniel, 85, died Saturday, December 16, 2006 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Aaron Raulerson officiating. Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis was in charge of arrangements.

The family of McDaniel received friends after the service Monday, December 18, 2006 at the home of Bill and Brenda McDaniel at 7935 County Rd. 19, Demopolis, Al.

McDaniel was born in Scuba, Miss., a resident of Demopolis for 70 years, and a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Forkland.

McDaniel was preceded in death by her husband, William H. McDaniel and her parents, Al Garner Meadows and Clara Lela Davis Meadows.

Survivors include two sons, Bert McDaniel of Linden, Bill McDaniel of Demopolis; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one cousin, Mary Elizabeth Rhodes and a friend, Hazel Bedsole.

Pallbearers will be Greg Low, Dion Dreher, David Fuqua, Lee Dunn, Jimbo Rhodes, and Luke Hallmark.

Ronny Earl Pritchett

DEMOPOLIS &045; Ronny Earl Pritchett, 48, of Demopolis, died on Friday, December 15, 2006 in Linden. He was a millwright at Linden Lumber Company.

Graveside funeral services were held at Linden Memorial Park at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday with the Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating.

He is survived by her father, Edward Earl Pritchett of Linden; his mother, Mary Ann Pritchett of Linden; four brothers, Billy Pritchett, Mike Pritchett and Woody Pritchett, all of Linden, and Jim Pritchett of Decatur; one niece, five nephews and a companion, Liz Hamilton of Demopolis.

Active pallbearers were Curtis Hare, Allen Hartzell, Arthur Henson, Paul Warren, Willie Wilkinson Jr., Stan Wilkinson, Jerry Quinney, P.J. Johnson, Jack Barkley and Jim Kirkham.

Honorary pallbearers were the Marengo Academ Class of 1976 and the employees of Linden Lumber Company.

O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden was in charge of the arrangements.

Lois G. Chatman

CHICAGO &045; Lois G. Chatman, 84 of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Gallion died on December 11, 2006 in Chicago. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Mount Cannan Cemetery in Gallion.

Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.

Helen McNealey

DEMOPOLIS &045; Helen McNealey, 73 of Demopolis died on December 13, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Richard Fountain will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m.
