Audie Beatrice Johnson

YORK &045; Audie Beatrice Johnson, 49, of York died November 24, 2006 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Miss.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Mount Powell Baptist Church in York with the Rev. Wesley Winston officiating. Burial will follow in Cokes Chapel Cemetery in Ward with McInnis Mortuary of Livingston directing. Visitation will be held from 1 until 6 p.m. today at the mortuary and an hour prior t the service time at the church.

Darrell Hurst Sr.

YORK &045; Darrell Hurst Sr., 40, died November 25, 2006 at Hill Hospital in York. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Chicago with Jennings-Peoples Funeral Home directing. Local arrangements were handled by McInnis Mortuary of Livingston.

Evelyn Megginson Pruett

DEMOPOLIS &045; Mrs. Evelyn Megginson Pruett, 96, a native and former resident of Uniontown died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Woodhaven Manor in Demopolis.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Gallion Baptist Church with the Revs. Timothy Davis and Evie Riley Megginson officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis directing the services. The Pruett Family will receive friends at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006.

Mrs. Pruett was a resident of Demopolis for the past three months. She was a member of Gallion Baptist Church for the past 15 years and was a member of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallie Miller Pruett.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelmerdene Pruett Folsom and her husband John of Flomaton, Luverne Pruett Ratliff and her husband, Ottis of Demopolis; two sons, Gerald Pruett and his wife, Martha and Eddie Pruett, all of Uniontown; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Justin Pruett, Mark Ratliff, Jerry Pruett, Johnny Folsom Jr., Eddie Pruett Jr., Mickey Folsom. Honorary pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School Class at Gallion Baptist Church.

Shirley Faye Jennings

DEMOPOLIS &045; Mrs. Shirley Faye Jennings 63, of Demopolis died on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating. Interment will follow 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Bessemer, a resident of Demopolis since 1928 and a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.

Her husband, George V. Jennings and her father, Shirley Winfield &8220;Doc&8221; Dean, preceded Mrs. Jennings in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Connie Weaver and her husband, Sonny; one son, Ronald Jennings and his wife, Juanita, all of Demopolis; her mother, Louise Boles Dean of Demopolis; one brother, Donnie Dean and his wife, Jean of Gallion; seven grandchildren; a nephew.

Pallbearers will be Jan Jennings, Tyler Morrison, Jarrod Weaver, Daniel Dean, Buddy Large and Woodie Dinning.

The Jennings Family request no flowers and donations be made to Fairhaven Baptist Church, 1504 Cardinal Street, Demopolis, AL 36732.

Richard L. Banks Sr.

GALLION &045; Mr. Richard L. Banks Sr., 71 of Galliondied on November 26, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church in Coatopa. The Rev. Floyd Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Coatopa. Family hour will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of arrangements.

Scott Edward Rembert

FORKLAND &045; Mr. Scott Edward Rembert, 50, of Forkland died on November 24, 2006 in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2006 at New Green Oak Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. Edward King will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The remains will repose at the church beginning at noon on Saturday. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
