Senior running back Lucious Haywood of the Demopolis Tigers made an enormous impact in Demopolis&8217; 69-6 routing of the Greene County Tigers. He is the choice for this weeks Player of the Week.

Haywood scored a career high of five touchdowns to go along with 186 yards rushing.

He has been called on with regularity when the Tigers get near the goal line. The 5&8217;10&8221; 182lb senior has scored at least one touchdown in the last five games for the Tigers. He&8217;s hammered his way to the end zone nine times in the last three games.

He received a ring in Demopolis&8217; 2004 championship season. Haywood&8217;s favorite class is history. He plans to attend Southern Mississippi or UAB next year to further his education.
