PENSACOLA &045; Jimmie Besteda, 53, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Demopolis died on November 18, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center, Pensacola, Fla. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ala. The Rev. Edmond Charleston will officiate. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson, Ala.Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.

He is the brother of Rebecca Green, Ellen Bisco, Orsolar Allen, Louise Charleston and Ada Phillips of Demopolis and Jefferson, and Earl Johnson and Coleman Johnson.

Johnny Robinson Jr.

DEMOPOLIS &045; Johnny Robinson Jr., 32, of Demopolis died on November 12, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Nazareth Of Galilee Baptist Church in Gallion, Ala. The Rev. Jesse Bell is the pastor. The Rev. Wendell Charleston gave the eulogy and the Rev. Mitchell Congress served as master of order. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Robinson; stepdaughter, Melanie McMillian; his parents, Johnny Sr. and Margie Robinson of Demopolis; three siblings, Pamela Brunson of

Killeen, Texas, Melissa Edwards of Demopolis and Darius Robinson of Tacoma, Wash.; seven uncles, Isadore Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla., Walter Gibson of Meridian, Miss., Willie Clayton of Demopolis, Eddie Gibson of Collinsville, Miss., Richard Robinson of Atlanta, Algie Gibson of Chicago and Charles Braxton of Demopolis; nine aunts, Louise Clayton, Jamaica, New York, Emma Phillips of Atlanta, Beatrice Bishop of Tuscaloosa, Clara Davis of Atlanta, Bobbie J. Clayton of Birmingham, Rosie Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fla., Earline Mitchell of Norfolk, Va., Pam Williams of Demopolis and Lucy Hill of Chicago; grandfather, Aaron Robinson of Birmingham; mother and father-in-law, Mack and Brenda McMillian of Newbern; four great uncles; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law, Spencer Edwards of Demopolis; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joe Nathan Thomas

LINDEN &045; Joe Nathan Thomas, 84, of Linden died on November 11, 2006 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis. Funeral services were held 2006 at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Linden. The Rev. Alfred Hudson officiated. Dorothy Doss served as mistress of order.

Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include eight children, Voncile J. Howard of, Ida Jacobs of Hampton, Va., Emma Jones of Birmingham. Regina Larkin of Clarkston, Ga., Madeline Larkin Curry of Warren, Ohio, Allen Jones, Herman Smith and Bobby Jones, all of Chicago; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

DEMOPOLIS &045; Sadie Mae Rowser, 69, of Demopolis died on November 14, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in. Funeral services were held 2006 at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Jerusalem Baptist Church in. The Rev. Sid Rowser officiated.

Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Rowser Sr. of Demopolis; eight children, Annette Green of Coatopa, Daisy McKnight, Raymond Tucker, Lee Rowser Jr. and Monica Rowser, all of Demopolis, Jeffrey Harris of Yazoo, Miss., Mary Booker, Shiekita Rowser of Detroit, Mich.; three step-children, Jacquelyn Davis, Christopher Everett and Patrice Everett of Demopolis; one brother, Jessie Tucker Sr. of Demopolis; a special niece, Sadie Nash Hunt and a special nephew, Jessie Tucker Jr.; a cousin, Sarah Rowser; 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

November 13, 2006 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church in Coatopa. The Rev. Floyd Bell is the pastor.

The Rev. Jonnie Aldridge officiated. Interment followed in Old Bethel Cemetery in Coatopa.
