DEMOPOLIS &045; Sterling Bradford Rowe was arrested for discharging a firearm at an oncoming vehicle Friday.

Sgt. Tim Soronen of the Demopolis Police Department said dispatch was informed of shots being fired Friday afternoon. Police responded to find that an occupied vehicle had been fired upon on Highway 80 East in Demopolis into oncoming traffic.

Soronen said witnesses identified the suspect as Sterling Rowe, 18, of Forkland. Soronen said that police located the suspect and vehicle. Soronen said that the motive for the irregular actions of the suspect have yet to be determined.

No injuries were reported.

Rowe is being held awaiting bond.
