Demopolis police seek persons for questioning in theft

DEMOPOLIS &045;The police department is looking for three women wanted for questioning in relation to stolen items that were taken from Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Sgt. Detective Tim Soronen said several items, including three liquid crystal display televisions, were taken from the store Sunday. He said three women identified on security cameras are wanted for questioning in relation to the case.
Soronen said the store’s merchandise that was discovered missing was worth several thousands of sdollars. He said each television removed from the store is worth around $400 or $500.
Soronen said the people responsible for the theft might have even brought their own Wal-Mart bags with them. He said they might have bagged other times in the bags to cover up the televisions.
Soronen said the department is currently trying to get together more information about the missing items. He said the three women in the security tapes might have information that will benefit the department’s investigation.
Soronen said it would benefit all parties involved if the three women on the tapes came in for questioning. He said anyone with information on the women could also contact the police department to help locate the women.
