Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at St. Peter Baptist Church in Linden. The Rev. Byron Hannah will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The remains will repose at the church beginning at 12 p.m. noon on Saturday. Family hour will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel in Linden. Travis E. Moring

DEMOPOLIS &045; Travis E. Moring, 73, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at The First United Methodist Church of Demopolis with Dr. Art Luckie officiating. Interment will follow later in Demopolis Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Perkins Moring of Demopolis; two brothers, Ed Moring and Stokes Moring and other family and friends.

Moring was a retired pipefitter in the construction business and served in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1961.
