DEMOPOLIS &045; The season for the West Alabama Preparatory Titans has come down to its final. A win tonight and the season might prolong. A lose tonight and the playoff picture dwindles to little or nothing. It’s a little complicated, but the bottom line is WAP must win tonight.

Tonight’s opponent is the Central Christian Academy Warriors, whom the Titans beat two weeks ago in Selma. If they win the area out right, it is an automatic berth into the playoffs no matter what happens in the area tournament.

If two teams finish at the top of the area, the berth into the playoffs would be decided in the area tournament.

WAP must recover from the loss of its last game to South Choctaw, last Tuesday.

Rest assured, there will be a tomorrow for WAP, whether their next game be a state playoff game or an area tournament game. WAP has hopes of a possible bye in the area tournament.
