Anna Justine Tucker Davis

BEL AIR, Md. &045; Anna Justine &8220;Teena&8221; Tucker Davis of Hale County, born in Uniontown, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Bel Air, Md. after a long illness. Her parents, Joe R. Tucker and Claudia E. Tucker; three brothers, Lester Tucker, Rogers Tucker, and Lawrence Tucker, as well as her husband, William

Davis Jr. of Dothan, preceded her in death.

Davis is survived by her brother, Joe Tucker Jr.; her sister, Velma Jackson; three daughters, Pamela Davis of South Carolina, Paula Wright of Indiana and Maryanne Tarasco of Maryland; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Davis graduated from Greensboro High School in 1945 and attended Auburn University where she met and married the late William &8220;Mac&8221; Davis Jr. She spent her life caring for her family and others. She was an active member of the North Brevard Church of Christ in Titusville, Fla. where she had lived for the last 25 years before her illness. She will be dearly missed by her many friends in Titusville.

Visitation will be held at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel in Demopolis from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2007 Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Aimwell Cemetery in South Marengo County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aimwell Cemetery Fund c/o Andy Etheredge 35262

Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Demopolis.

The Rev. Terry Gosa officiated. Jesse Wheeler was the Master of Order. Interment followed in Limestone Cemetery in Gallion. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sisters, Cora Blanton of Toledo, Ohio and Sally Collins of Detroit; one niece and caregiver, Flora Harris of Demopolis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Zion Church in Forkland. The Rev. Stephen Hixie will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
