DEMOPOLIS &045; Lillie Inell Jones, 82, of Demopolis died on

January 30, 2007 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Willie Williams officiated.

Interment followed in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one sister, Julia Coleman Harris of Demopolis; niece and nephew, Carrie Gilbert of Demopolis; one god-brother, Wayne Irvin of Dallas Texas; one brother in law, Andrew Anderson of Bronx, N.Y.; two sisters in law, Sarah Vawters of Bellamy and Joyce Coleman, Bronx, N.Y.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

NEWBERN &045; Markiece S. Quarles, 23, of Newbern died on Feb. 4, 2007 at Hale County Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Sunshine High School in Greensboro, with the Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will be held in Croom Family Cemetery in Newbern. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the school. Washington&Paige Mortuary of Greensboro is in charge of the arrangements.

Gabriel &8220;Bookie&8221; Harris

LIVINGSTON &045; Gabriel &8220;Bookie&8221; Harris, 38, of Livingston died on Feb. 5, 2007 at Hill Hospital in York. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Livingston with the Rev. John Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Livingston City Cemetery with McInnis Mortuary of Livingston is charge of the arrangements. Visitation is today form 1 until 6 p.m. at the mortuary and an hour prior to service at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 12 noon at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Johnson officiating. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Public viewing will be held from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
