DEMOPOLIS &045; The 20-4 Demopolis Lady Tigers will host on the Chelsea Lady Hornets tomorrow in a 5A sub-regional match up.

Demopolis had little trouble getting by Dallas County and Wilcox Central in advancing to the sub-regionals. A win tomorrow will result in a trip to Montgomery to play in Alabama State’s Acadome.

The Lady Hornets, who will travel from Shelby County, will bring a sound basketball team.

Demopolis have won eight out of their last nine games. They are a tough team when they are running the floor. Controlling the boards will be another factor that the Lady Tigers must contend with, if they are to move on to Montgomery. Kiarra Plaskett, Jasmine Hardy, and Aleisha Arnold must handle the boards.

Jasmine Simmons had been consistent all season. The bench, led by Arnold and Loreal Moore, has been the key to playing up-tempo on a continuous basis for the Lady Tigers.

Rest assured Coach Pittman will have them ready

Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
