Fannie Marie &8220;Rita&8221; Todd

GREENSBORO &045; Fannie Marie &8220;Rita&8221; Todd, 57 of Greensboro died Feb. 8 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at Salem Baptist Church in Greensboro with the Rev. J.C. Carter Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 from 12 noon until 7 p.m. at Washington&Paige Mortuary Chapel. The body will also lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Sarah Christian Cemetery in Greensboro.

Washington&Paige Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

William Stivender &8220;Bill&8221; Logan

WILSONVILLE &045; William Stivender &8220;Bill&8221; Logan, 73, formerly of Demopolis died on Feb. 1, 2007 at his home in Wilsonville. A memorial service was held on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at Wilsonville Baptist Church.

He was born on Oct. 29, 1933 in Talladega County and graduated from Demopolis High School and the University of Alabama. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity. After college, he began his career in marketing at Anderson Electric in Leeds in 1955 and retired from Electrical Specialty Products /Westinghouse in Montevallo where he was Vice President of Marketing.

An avid and lifelong hunter and fisherman, he had a passion for turkey hunting. He enjoyed playing golf and being with all of his friends in the Wilsonville community.

He was an active member of Wilsonville Baptist Church and member and past president of numerous civic, outdoor and business organizations throughout his life.

His parents, William Elegious Logan and Esther Mae Stivender Logan, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gail Bishop Logan; daughters, Mary Ann Logan Somers of Birmingham, Kay Martin of Jemison; son, Jimmy Lynn Elkins of Birmingham; brother, Thomas Lowell Logan of Cheyenne, Wy.; three grandsons and nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
