Clara Mae Hill

DEMOPOLIS &045; Clara Mae &8220;Peggy&8221; Hill, 73, died on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her home after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack White officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis directing services.

The Hill family will receive friends at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel on Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m.

Hill survivors include her husband of 55 years, David Leon Hill of Demopolis; two daughters, Carol McDaniel of Demopolis, Debra Gentry and her husband, Steve of Greensboro; one son, David Hill and his wife, Caroline of Petal, Miss.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Hill was born in Shelbyville, Tenn. and lived in Huntsville in her earlier years.

She moved to Linden in 1953 and has lived in Demopolis for the past 35 years and retired from Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital where she had served as the director of Respiratory Therapy Department for several years and she was a member of Canal Heights Church of Christ in Demopolis.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Brian Hill, Adam Hill, Tyler Hill, Michael McDaniel, Josh Gentry and Jordan Gentry.

Tammy Renee’ Lathum Henry

GREENSBORO &045; Tammy Renee’ Lathum Henry, 35, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Family Life Center at Greensboro Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Shannon Henry of Greensboro; father and mother, Raymond and Sue Adams Lathum of Greensboro; son, Robert Jordan Henry of Greensboro; daughter, Allison Leigh Henry of Greensboro; brothers, Jerry Wayne Lathum and wife, Sonya of Greensboro and Terry Wade Lathum and wife, Tanya of Brookwood and grandmother, Pearl Adams of Greensboro.

Pallbearers were Jay Clements, Dan Gentry, Shane Henry, Kevin Jockisch, Ritchie Davis and Dennis Drake.

Honorary pallbearers were Terry Lathum, Jerry Lathum; Mike Adams and members of Joy Class at Greensboro Baptist Church. In lieu of flower memorials may be made to: Greensboro Baptist Church, 908 Main St., Greensboro, AL 36744.

Estella Weston Moore

FORKLAND &045; Estella Weston Moore, 89, of Forkland died on March 25, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the Old Greene Oak Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. Johnny R. Lewis will officiate.

Interment will follow in Longin Cemetery in Forkland. Private viewing only. No viewing at the church.

Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis is in charge of the arrangements.

Leonard Evans

DEMOPOLIS &045; Leonard Evans, 86, of Demopolis died on March 21, 2007 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis.

Willie Mae Boone-Harbin

Ida V. Williams

BOLIGEE &045; Ida V. Williams, 90, of Boligee died on March 21, 2007 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home in Aliceville. Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Succanoochie Cemetery in Boligee.The Rev. James Carter officiated.Interment followed in Succanoochie Cemetery.Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
