DEMOPOLIS &8212; Tomorrow the Demopolis Tigers baseball team will host the Jackson Aggies, who are ranked 4A No.1.

Demopolis beat Jackson, 3-2, earlier in the season at Jackson&8217;s Tombigbee Classic. Scott Cannon was on the mound for the Tigers in the contest, striking out 10 batters. It was the last game he pitched this season, as Cannon has since had a season ending surgery.

The Aggies will bring an experienced team. Most of the squad has played together since the ninth grade.

Jackson had a 6-1 record when Demopolis beat them earlier this season. They had a 15-3 record before its spring break last week.

The Tiger game plan is to put the ball and play. They will also attempt to play a little small ball according to Moody.

The first pitch is scheduled for noon. Demopolis will also host Hale County on Saturday with a noon start.
