DEMOPOLIS &8212; The city Board of Education contracted McKee and Associates to design a new athletic complex at the high school on Tuesday night.

The athletic complex project became a reality after the city council gave their support to a $2 million bond to assist in the development last week. The board of education is putting up $100,000 of seed money and will pay any costs above $2 million.

McKee and Associates will design the complex, which includes a football stadium, soccer field, track and accommodating buildings.
