Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the John The Baptist Church in Halsell. The Rev. Lavon Gathright will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery in Halsell. Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Visitation and wake services will be held from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.

COATOPA &8212; David Scales, 91, of Coatopa died on April 17, 2007 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Dugg Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Coatopa. The Rev. John Wright will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. The remains will lie in state at the church beginning at noon on Saturday. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
