Cavaliers defeat DHS Tigers, 4-0

DEMOPOLIS &045; The John Carroll Cavaliers came to town and defeated the Demopolis Tigers in an exciting soccer match last night.

Keen said the girls momentum played part in who they were as a team.

With 7:04 left in the first half, Kristina Culotta of John Carroll scored the first goal of the game. The Cavaliersled 1-0, at the break.

In the second half, John Carroll gained the momentum after a goal by Sophomore Taylor Henderson.The Cavalierswent on a scoring spree as Senior players Angela Tudisco and Melissa Reid both scored a goal to give the Cavs a 4-0 lead.

Demopolis failed toconvert on many close opportunities and lost the game4-0.

Demopolis High School boasted seven seniors on their team. Some of these seniors have been playing the sport as a team since they were 10 years old.
