TUSCALOOSA &8212; After finishing the regular season and wrapping up their playoff aspirations, the Demopolis High School Lady Tigers took to the diamond one more time before calling it quits, beating American Christian Academy, 12-0.

The group&8217;s win put it at 19-18 on the season allowing the Tigers to finish the season above .500 with a winning record. Coach Joey Browder said he was glad to end the season with a good win like yesterday&8217;s game.

After falling to Eufaula High School in two games in the opening round of the state playoffs at home in matches where the team didn&8217;t seem to fire on all cylinders, the group came out with a vengeance and cleaned up American Christian with some big bats. The group scored in every inning of the game except the seventh where it wasn&8217;t warranted.
