LINDEN &8212; The contracts of 10 teachers with Linden City Schools were non-renewed Monday evening during the Linden City Board of Education&8217;s monthly meeting.

The teachers who were not renewed were non-tenured teachers who may reapply for their positions with the schools, Linden City School Superintendent Walter Davis said.

Davis said the renewal is not an unusual policy for Linden schools or other schools in the state.
