Mr. and Mrs. Willie Richard Tucker of Newbern announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Elizabeth, to David Matthew Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Rogers of Boligee.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Flinn Stokes, Jr. of Newbern and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Carl Tucker of Greensboro.

Miss Tucker is a 2002 graduate of Southern Academy and attends Shelton State Community College where she has received a degree in Commercial Art and is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Art.

She is employed by Chuck Collins Studio in Tuscaloosa.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. John H. Rogers (Elaine Bullock) of Demopolis and the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Rogers (Joan Pearson) of Boligee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Ellis (Sara Jones) and Mr. Robert Virgil Jones of Eutaw.

Mr. Rogers is a 2001 graduate of Warrior Academy and attended the University of West Alabama where he received a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology.

He is employed by Prystup Packaging Products in Livingston.

The wedding will be at six o&8217;clock, Saturday evening, June 23, at the Newbern Baptist Church.
