Washington said they plan to have a short program featuring presentations from some of the schools. Iris Richardson, federal programs coordinator and special education director for Linden City Schools, will be singing a song with her daughter to honor Dr. Davis.

After the short program, guests will be offered refreshments and a time to reflect on Davis&8217;s accomplishments and contributions to Linden City Schools.

In regards to how Dr. Davis is feeling about the event, Washington said that he seems to be handling everything very well. Although, she said, his wife has had a different predicament.
