Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Joe Keasler of Demopolis, would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristy Lane, to John Daniel Atkins, son of Dr. and Mrs. Allen Atkins also of Demopolis.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. (Billy) Fleming of Epes and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Keasler of Coker. She is a 2002 graduate of Demopolis High School and a 2006 graduate of Auburn University. She earned a bachelor&8217;s degree in finance and a minor in marketing.

The prospective bride-groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Atkins of Nauvoo and Mrs. Rachel E. Coots and the late Mr. Vernon L. Coots of Fyffe. He is a 2003 graduate of Demopolis High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Mobile. He earned his bachelor&8217;s degree in Theology and his minor in History.

The couple will marry at 2 p.m. on July 28 at Fairhaven Baptist Church in Demopolis. Friends and family of the couple are invited to attend.
