The Alabama Department of Education released the adequate yearly progress report for schools today.

All of Demopolis City Schools and Linden City Schools met the AYP goals. Only Marengo High School in the Marengo County School District failed to meet AYP.

Marengo High School met two of its three indicators &8212; reading and math &8212; but failed to meet AYP for its graduation rate. Nonetheless, it was not placed in a School Improvement category.

All three school systems met AYP for the year.
