Sheriff Jesse Langley said Tuesday Sheffield is still being considered a suspect in the Old Springhill case and has been questioned during his incarceration at the Chilton County Detention Center.
Langley said, Sheffield is believed to
be involved with arsons in other counties in the past that may have caused deaths or serious injuries. Langley said Sheffield might also gone by the alias James Willis.
When asked about other suspects or persons of interest in the case, Paulk said, &8220;Everyone is of interest in a case especially when it is thought to be criminal in nature.&8221;
Langley said Old Springhill Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze and there were no injuries associated with the fire.
