Linden outdoes Livingston, 66-7

LIVINGSTON &045; Coach Andro Williams and his Patriots can mark one in the win column after Friday’s 66-7 victory over the Livingston Cougars in the first regular season game of the year.

Williams said he thinks the team performed well and executed what they wanted to do. His game plan for the night was to keep it basic and solid.

He added that even in high scoring games like this one, it is important not to give up late in the game.

Williams said he is enjoying coaching his team so far.

Not only was Williams pleased with the team’s overall success, he said he saw improvement in the players as well.

The Patriots’ next game will be against Sunshine High School on Sept. 7.
