Mr. Austin &8220;Skip&8221; Caldwell and Ms. Linda Long Lunsford are pleased to announce their engagement to be married.

The couple plan to exchange vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at the Daphne Bayfront in Daphne.

Linda, a resident of Bay Minette, is the daughter of Ms. Versia Long of Fairhope and the late Aubrey Long.

She is a graduate of Fairhope High School and the University of South Alabama.

She is employed at Faulkner State Community College as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Development.

Skip, a resident of Demopolis, is the son of Mr. Austin Caldwell of Demopolis and the late Mrs. Jane Caldwell. He is a graduate of Demopolis High School and Auburn University. Skip is employed with the Hale County School System as the network administrator.

Following the wedding, the couple plan to reside in Bay Minette.
