LINDEN &8212; Autauga Academy is heading into hostel territory this evening, traveling into Marengo County to face the Longhorns at the Orange and White&8217;s Homecoming.

The Autauga bunch, though a division below the &8217;Horns in the Alabama Independent School Association, comes into the game with only one loss to the Longhorn&8217;s two. But Marengo Academy recorded their losses to Pickens Academy in the first game and to defending state champion and currently No. 3 Southern Academy.

With indicators pointing at a win for his team, Longhorn head coach Jesse Little knows what he is facing from his smaller opponent looking for a Homecoming upset.

But even with the information, Little&8217;s group isn&8217;t making any major adjustments in their game plan this week. He said his team has faced groups already this year that bring the same threats as Autauga to the table, so his athletes aren&8217;t having to learn new adjustments.

Little said his group is prepared to go into the game with their game plan and succeed. He said his group has been taught to line up in various defensive formations over the course of the season, so if they come across something they must adjust for they can move into one of three or four formations in which they can line up.
