In the second half of the game, the Tiger defense was able to shut down the Vigor offense, but the team was unable to gain any momentum on the offensive side.

The leading tacklers were Anthony Wilson with six tackles, Michael Davis with five tackles and Antwon Nelson with five tackles.

Both teams suffered from mistakes, Demopolis lost 55 yards and Vigor lost 62.5 yards to penalties.

Causey said he is most proud of the seniors, who were able to adapt to a new coaching program after having a successful career under other coaches for three years. The seniors this year walk away with a high school career of 44-6.

When asked about plans for the next year, Causey said the team has to focus on the little things and learn to play more consistently.
