Lady Tiger precision leads to 50-33 win over Patriots
The Sunshine Lady Tigers entered the house of a one-loss Linden Lady Patriots team and walked out with a 50-33 win.
Despite the score, the precision play of the Tigers didn&8217;t lead to an early break down of the Patriot group, whose size dominance has helped them dominate the paint this season. Going into the fourth period, the Patriots were only down by six, but the Tigers&8217; disciplined play finally took its toll &8212; putting up 15 points to Linden&8217;s four in the final quarter.
Leading scorers for the Tigers were Shatontaye Myers with 20, JohnQuesha Childs with 13 and LaCresha Rainer with 12. Kristi Lloyd led Linden with 15 points.

A.L. Johnson wins nail-biter game over Akron High School
The A.L. Johnson varsity Eagles found a way to squeeze out of Monday night&8217;s home game with a win over a determined Akron High School team with a 56-54 victory.
Eagles&8217; coach Mose Jones said the game was one of the best the group has played in so far this season. The two school have a rematch next week, when the Eagles try their chances against the group on the road in Akron on Monday.

Linden junior varsity dominates Sunshine at home
The Patriots&8217; junior varsity group rolled over visiting Sunshine High School Monday evening in their 52-36 win.
The Patriots got out to a quick start and ended the first quarter with an eight-point cushion, which the group only built on for most of the game. The Patriots didn&8217;t expand their lead in the fourth period alone, where they went shot-for-shot with the Tigers.
Leading Linden scorers were Kieuntae Goodwill with 21 and Terrance Sanders with 12. T. Ward had 15 for the Sunshine Tigers.
