DEMOPOLIS &8212; Gladys &8220;Tijuana&8221; Clayton Scott, 43, of Demopolis died recently at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at the Nazareth of Galilee Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Jesse Bell will officiate.
Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church beginning at noon on Saturday. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
Scott was a retired surgical technician at Bryan Whitfield Hospital.
Her husband, Richard Scott, along with her mother, Mable Nixson Clayton, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Victoria Denise Scott, of Demopolis; a father, Deacon Lovell Clayton, of Demopolis; siblings, Grace Clayton Lockley and husband, Alvin, of Demopolis, Debra Johnson, and husband, Neal, Demopolis, James E. Nixon of Las Vegas, Curley Clayton of Demopolis, Susie Gilbert of Demopolis, William Smith and wife, Emma, Columbus, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends.
