DEMOPOLIS &8212; Willie &8220;Toby&8221; Gilmore, 70, of Demopolis, died on Jan. 14, 2008, at Bryan Whitfield Hospital. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Larkin&Scott Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Michael Barton officiated. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Gilmore was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gertrude Gilmore, three sisters, Mary Anges Jones, Lula Gilmore Smith and Lee Ethel Gilmore Gaines, and one brother, James J. Gilmore. Survivors includes two children, Richard Peebles of Chicago and Tracy Williams and husband, Phil, of Dallas; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Melvia J. McKinley Jones of Greensboro, Gertrude Gilmore Brown and Martha M. Gilmore, both of Forkland and a host of relatives and friends.
