DEMOPOLIS &8212; Early Monday morning two vehicles traveling on East Pettus Street collided, causing one vehicle to careen into a nearby residence.

According to Director of Public Safety Jeff Manuel, the two people involved were Jayshri Patel of Demopolis and Jan Tanner of Gallion. After the two cars collided behind Newell Paper Company, Patel&8217;s van crashed into a nearby residence, going completely through an exterior wall.

No injuries were reported and workers were out boarding up the home by mid-morning.
