Demopolis Tigers win nail biter over Dallas County

The Demopolis Tigers took on The Dallas County Hornets on Friday night in a nail bitter.
In the first quarter, The Tigers came out a little shaky and found themselves behind 19-12 at the end of the first period. Dallas County continued to force Demopolis to turn the ball over in the second quarter and took a 28-24 lead into the half.
Tigers&8217; coach Jesse Bell must have changed his game plan at the half as The Tigers came out playing aggressive defense in the third period and led 44-34 going into the fourth quarter.
In the final period, Tiger seniors Casey Cantey and Patrick Robertson
decided to take over and led their team to a 69-54 victory over The Hornets.
Top scorers for the Tigers were Casey Cantey and Patrick Robertson, both with 20 points.
Dallas County had three players in double figures: Andrew Mahan, 15, Courtney Martin and Thomas King, both with 11.
